WHERE DO YOUR CLOTHING COMPONENTS COME FROM ?

Lacoste strives to produce its clothing as close as possible to the areas in which it will be sold, but also with the most competent suppliers for specific products.
Fibers, especially cotton used in Lacoste polo shirts, are carefully selected among the world's finest fibers in the four areas recognised for their great expertise: Peru, the United States, Egypt and Greece. Each supplier must meet high standards that go beyond quality standards and are also respectful of human rights and the principles of sustainable development.

PROTECTION AND ANIMAL WELFARE

Lacoste is concerned with the welfare of animals, endangered species and biodiversity.
For this reason it has banned all practices that cause suffering to the animals (force-feeding, plumage of live animals, mulesing).
The brand also invests in the protection of biological diversity since 2009 in a project for the protection of crocodile species.

CARE ADVICE

Lacoste recommends that you follow for each item the specific care instructions listed on the product's label.
With regards to polos, it is recommended to use cold water the first time you wash them and to turn them inside out to preserve the quality of the cotton. Then, it is advisable to wash them in cold or warm water (30 degrees) with a soft laundry detergent preferably non-toxic and biodegradable.
Dryers and radiators are not recommended. It's best to allow your polo shirt to drip dry.  
These practices also save energy and improve the environmental footprint of your product.

DO YOU USE REAL FUR ?

Lacoste is concerned with the welfare of animals, endangered species and biodiversity. For this reason it has committed not to use real fur nor angora for its collections. 

IS IT TRUE THAT THE QUALITY OF LACOSTE POLOS HAS ALWAYS REMAINED UNCHANGED ?

Since their creation in 1933, Lacoste polo shirts have followed the same manufacturing steps to meet the same performance requirements.
Lacoste has always been very attentive in the selection of its components and in the production of its clothes. The cotton thread used is the same as the original one, only a resin has been added since the nineties to secure longer colour holding over the years.
In 2016 Lacoste performed an analysis by an external laboratory - IFTH - which certified the equivalence of the quality of polo shirts manufactured in different years and their resistance over time.

WHERE ARE THE PRODUCTS MADE ?

All Lacoste clothes are designed in France and then manufactured in factories which, wherever their location in the world, have been selected for their ability to meet the high quality, social and environmental requirements set out in Lacoste's Code of Conduct.
Lacoste products are manufactured as close as possible to the areas in which they will be sold, but also from the most competent suppliers on specific products (silk in China, synthetics / technical fabrics in Asia, etc.).

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE THE NEWSLETTER ?

Newsletters are only sent to you if you have subscribed via the Lacoste website.

If you wish to unsubscribe, you can use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter.
This will not delete your Lacoste account.

HOW CAN I RETURN A PURCHASED PRODUCT ?

FREE AND EASY RETURNS
We accept returns within 15 days after receipt of your order. You can do this for free by logging in to your Lacoste Online account and selecting the order you want to return and specify the reason for return. Our courier partner will get in touch with you to schedule a pickup of the product from the address the product was delivered to.
Underwear, swimwear, socks, belts, wallets, perfumes, sunglasses and other accessories are not eligible for return.
Please ensure the items are new, unworn and in their original packaging with their accessories and the tag attached to the products.

RETURN USING ONLINE METHOD

To receive your free return label:
> Login to your customer account on Lacoste.in and go to My Online Orders and Returns
1. Select the item(s) to return (quantity/reason) and click on Confirm the item(s) to return.
2. After registering your return request, our courier partner will contact you to schedule a pickup of the product from the same address the products were delivered to.
3. Please re-use the box the order was delivered in where possible and ensure that box is securely closed. 


The maximum timeframe for refunds is upto 15 days from the date when the parcel is received by us and it is done according to our terms and conditions. Every item that doesn't comply with those conditions will be returned to you and no refund will be granted. 

Lacoste will proceed to the refund on the same means of payment used to place the order.

Please note if a promo code has been used to place the order, the value is divided up proportionately to the item price(s). 


RETURN INTO A BOUTIQUE 
Products purchased through the Lacoste Online Shop can only be returned online and cannot be returned to a Lacoste Boutique. 
 

PURCHASES MADE IN A BOUTIQUE

A product purchased at one of the Lacoste Boutiques cannot be returned or exchanged through the Lacoste Online Shop
These purchases must be returned to a Boutique (excludes  Outlets and department stores). Find your nearest store here

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I RECEIVE A DAMAGED OR FAULTY PRODUCT ?

In an unlikely event of a manufacturing defect, the defect should be brought to our notice within 3 months from the date of purchase for any further action by the company, which includes an internal inquiry by the company on the nature of defect. The value of the defective merchandise, if so determined by the company, will be refunded to the payment source used for placing the order. No return will be entertained if product care instructions are not followed.

HOW WILL I BE CREDITED AFTER THE PRODUCT IS RETURNED?

When a product is returned to us, we treat the refund directly via the payment method used for placing the original order.

If you have placed an order whilst logged into your account, you will find all the details of your order in "MY ACCOUNT / MY ORDERS". 

When your order has been dispatched you will receive a confirmation SMS. This SMS will contain the tracking number which will enable you to track the progress of the delivery of your order.

HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE ?

We normally dispatch an order within 2 working days from the order date which gets normally delivered within 3-7 working days or earlier from the dispatch date. However the delivery time may depend upon the destination to which you want the order shipped to.

We do not accept cash on delivery for purchase made on the lacoste india online store. 

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER ?

Orders placed with the Lacoste Online Shop, may be delivered to India only. We deliver to most of the PIN codes in India however, we may not be able to service some PIN codes due to unavailibilty of a reliable courier partner in that area or other government restrictions. You can check whether we deliver to your area by checking the serviceability of your PIN code on the product details page.

CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER ONCE IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED ?

It is not possible to make changes to the order once it has been confirmed.

IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER VALUE ?

No, there is no minimum order value on Lacoste.in.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY ORDER IS BEING PROCESSED ?

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email, confirming the details of your order. You can also check the status of your order in the my account section by logging in on the Lacoste Online Shop.

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER ?

You can cancel your order anytime before it has been dispatched from our warehouse. You will be sent an email with shipping details when the order is dispatched. 

HOW DO I USE A PROMO CODE ?

On the shopping cart page, you should enter your promo code in the "Promo code" section and then click OK.

The promo code and the corresponding discount will appear in your basket.  

Please note that the value of the promo code is divided up proportionately to the item price(s).

In case of return, you will be refunded for the amount paid on the returned item.

CAN MY ORDER BE DELIVERED TO AN ADDRESS OF MY CHOICE ?

We can deliver your order to the address of your choice. Please specify the delivery address when you place your order. Unless an alternative address is provided delivery will be made to the billing address.
